Re-entry is a term describing women and men being released from prison and integrated back into society. While the government heralds the non-profits serving the formerly incarcerated and a National Re-entry week is celebrated, but if you were to ask formerly incarcerated if these services helped them to get housing, jobs, or helped with the trauma of being confined, the universal answer is NO.
