Intersecting the Struggles of Mass Incarceration and the Arts

Presented by Isaac Scott, The Confined Arts with Lisette Oblitas-Cruz and Gaynel Sheffield, Friday, July 8 at 6:00 PM

Isaac Scott moderates a panel discussion on the point of intersection between the arts and incarceration. True justice reform can only occur when the perceptions of those who have found themselves on the punitive side of the criminal justice system are changed in the eyes of society. Scott, a formerly incarcerated individual, uses this panel discussion to speak on how art, and its transformative power, is the conduit to propel this change.
